Sedona Verde Valley Photo Expedition 2006
Discover Arizona's hidden treasure known as the Sedona Verde Valley. The Sedona Verde Valley, including Cottonwood, Jerome, Prescott and the Yavapai-Apache Nation, is a magnificent area that has an abundance of breathtaking beauty, archeological wonders, rich historical culture with boundless adventures.
The Verde Valley sits in the heart of north central Arizona, 120 miles north of Phoenix and 30 miles south of Flagstaff, at an elevation of 4,500 feet above sea level.  The Verde Valley enjoys four delightfully mild seasons.  The breathtaking natural beauty, climate, clean air and water. Pre-Columbian Sinaguan sites, a train excursion along the Verde River Canyon, Montezuma castle, and Tuzigoot national monument may all be experienced in a single day.
Jerome, sometimes nicknamed “The City in the Sky” was at one time the most talked about mining camp in America.  Its population went from 15,000 in its heyday to a “ghost town” of under 50 people.
