Hawaii's natural beauty is extraordinarily grand. Volcanic in origin, the Hawaiian islands are high and rugged, lushly green and cut by spectacular gorges and valleys. The beaches are beautiful. The terrain is amazingly varied, climbing from lowland deserts to alpine mountain tops, with everything from barren lava flows to tropical rain forests in between.

Oahu is the most crowded and developed of all islands. Honolulu has all the pulses and minuses of urban life, from good museums to lively nightlife. It also has wonderful restaurants with good ethnic foods and gourmet cuisines.
