If you want to try some
exotic African food. Try
Zeni Ethiopian
Restaurant on Saratoga Ave in San Jose. The food is
awesome and this place does not get very crowded even on the
weekends so you don't need a reservation. Friendly staff and
reasonably priced food makes this a great place to visit.
For the first timers try the Vegetable combo (all Ethiopian
vegetable dishes) and the Meat combo (Beef, lamb and
chicken). This will give you a good overview of what
Ethiopian food is. Ethiopian bread served with the food
looks similar to the India dosai but the Ethiopian bread is
made from Millet. The
portions are large so if you want to try both the combo's
you more people.
